Extreme Gratitude

This is a post that I had intended to write before we left the US but I am always days or weeks behind so here it is.  It is the middle of the night in Guangzhou, China.  We are here because of our "village".  Most of you who will read this know of the many obstacles that we faced.  Being who we are spiritually we know that they were attacks from the evil powers that roam this world.  With the massive support of our friends and "strangers" who God placed in our path we are here.  We are in the same city as our new daughter Wang Xiao Xing who will become Maya Grace XiaoXing Campbell.  We will see her sweet face around 3pm on Christmas Eve.  Billy and I have always been fiercely independent people.  This process has been greatly humbling and allowed us to see the beauty of others in the world.  We have grown as people and spiritually. People we did not know prior are now some of our closest friends.  So many people who truly "get it" in terms of adoption have sought us out and supported us in numerous ways and again we are here because of you!  Yes, I am shedding tears writing this when people come to mind.  I could list names but since it is the middle of the night here and my brain is on overload I am afraid of leaving someone out.  You  know who you are.  We are grateful with every inch of our being for the prayers, positive thoughts, encouraging words, emotional support, donations, and items given to us for Maya's use.  The great majority of our financial need was met.  The financial mountain was huge but thanks to many our burden was greatly lessened.  We are here! In 3 1/2 days Wang Xiao Xing will no longer be an orphan.  She will be a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, an aunt (that one is always weird) and a cousin! SHE WILL HAVE A FOREVER FAMILY!  There will be one less orphan in the world.  We wish abundant blessings on all of you who have paid a part in our being here today! Love and hugs to all of you!
